Betuwe War Museum ‘The Island’ 1944-1945

Possibly the smallest war museum in the Netherlands, but certainly the most personal. The museum provides an impression of the numerous battles that took place in the Betuwe during the Second World War. Through objects donated by veterans and local residents, the personal stories of the war come to life.
